The W227 electronic waterproof system is designed to keep dogs on the ground. The wire along the perimeter of the site plays the role of a transmitting antenna. When the dog approaches the boundary, the collar receiver will first beep to alert the dog. If the dog continues to approach the border, the system will issue a soft shock. If the dog does not react, then the electrical impact will begin to increase until the dog returns to the permitted limits. After a short training period, the dog will try to avoid correction by staying within the established boundaries.
