Valve caps with a pressure sensor are an easy and affordable way to monitor tire pressure. The device consists of two parts: a transparent glass part and a threaded aluminum bottom part. When screwing the cap onto the nipple, the transparent part will fill with green. This will mean that the pressure in the wheel is normal, 2.2 atmospheres.
The caps are equipped with a 3-level tire pressure monitoring system. As soon as the pressure in the tire does not drop much, a yellow stripe will appear in the cap, which means that the pressure needs to be checked and the tires pumped up. If the tire pressure drops to a critical value, a red bar will appear, which means that it is dangerous to continue driving.
